The coverage of the Toledo show includes the announcement by FMA of the new Super High Discharge Li-Poly packs with built in charge protection circuitry and the recently released Safety Guard product for protection of the cells during charge. You will find this on page 23. Bob Aberle used the FMA Direct Extreme receiver and Kokam 3S 1500-mAh Li-Poly battery in his review of the Verti-Go. He notes that if you wanted to get even lighter the Kokam 700-mAh pack would save about 2 ounces of the total a/c weight of 14 ounces. Already "super aerobatic," the weight reduction would only increase the fun but at a cost of flight time.
