The LIPOCH203 charges 2 LiPo cells connected in series. The five current setting jumpers range from 5 mA to 100 mA but unlike similar products, these settings are additive. This means if you plug all 5 jumpers in at once, you can support up to 225 mA charge current. Thus, the total number of charge currents supported is 31.
The unit utilizes the required constant current/constant voltage charge regimine for properly and safely charging all Lithium battery chemistries. Ideal for small batteries, or for normal rate charging of larger capacity cells, the charger can be powered by a 12V lead acid or gel cel battery, a DC power supply or any source that can provide 11 to 13.5VDC and at least 300 mA output current.
The LIPOCH203 charger is designed specifically for charging Lithium Polymer and Lithium Ion cells and packs. This charger is not designed to charge NiCd, NiMH or any other type of battery. The LIPOCH203 comes complete with 5 jumpers (plus 2 spares), a 2.5mm barrel jack output and alligator clips for input connections. Designed from the ground up with Lithium Polymer chemistry in mind, it will safely and completely charge any lithium battery to 100% capacity.
Recommended accessories sold separately: Versatile Adapter (501MC) and barrel cable (304BC) - plugs into the 2.5mm barrel jack output and allows interface of all major R/C connectors (JR, Hitec, Futaba, Deans, Molex, Old Style Airtronics)
